Can anyone tell me the rate of attack on the daggers? Are they faster or slower than the sword?

i think its normally quite near the sword attack rate, but the fact it has a chance to "double swing" its faster

Looks can be deceiving. If that's true because you observed it, I would be getting around 2x more damage with axe because he swings twice a lot.

its hugely faster than the sword, try using a zealous set of daggers, youll see.

Yeah, I just used it in Random Arena with a basic IW (never thought you'd hear that again did you LOL) and it is devastating. Even against monks, it kills even faster than they heal if you have Flurry on. (16 Illusion too of course)

IAS is capped at 133% so adding an IAS stance and IWAY does absolutely NOTHING!!!

I don't pay attention to the technical ones, i thought it went to 150% or something, either way its just as effective

Question after this "So should I use a IW mesmer with daggers?"

Well if the duel strike thingy means you do 2 IW damges then yes. However I will have to test.

The update log says it's capped at 133%, but IWAY + Tiger's is noticably faster!? Weird...

It does. I have tried.
Also, each seperate dagger is as fast as a sword.. But there is two of em, so thats much more hits.

Dagger attack speed is approximately 1 second per swing. A dual strike gets counted as a single swing.

You should use IW with Me/W with Flurry and assn. Dagers and I will avenge you to me it seems that IWAY and Flurry stack along wiht daggers it will go uber and i mean uber fast
